Academics will be confronted with a variety of tasks, for example literature research, data collection or presenting results to the public. However, many skills relevant to professional life do not simply come naturally while pursuing doctoral or postdoctoral studies but must be acquired otherwise.
This is why the Graduate Academy and other service facilities of Leibniz Universität Hannover provide a programme of courses and events especially tailored for young academics. Many of these offers address doctoral students and postdocs likewise.
