The Statute of the Graduate Academy passed by the resolution of the senate of Leibniz Universität Hannover sets out the following organisational structure for the academy:
The Board is responsible for the overall management of the Graduate Academy.
Graduate Academy Council
The Graduate Academy Council takes a position on matters of central concern to the Graduate Academy.
The management office is in charge of the day-to-day running of the Graduate Academy.
Statute of the Graduate Academy
The statute of the Graduate Academy was passed by the senate of Leibniz Universität Hannover on 16.12.2009 in accordance with Section 41 Paragraph 1 NHG (Lower Saxony Higher Education Act). The statute regulates the duties and structure of the Graduate Academy as well as its administrative organisation.
The Graduate Academy of the Leibniz University offers a cross-faculty arbitration body to assist in the resolution of conflicts and problems in the context of a doctoral supervisory relationship.
Doctoral students as well as supervising university teacher can call the Arbitration Board.
