Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard Foundation

The Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard Foundation supports outstanding young women working in the field of experimental science who see their career as a scientist at risk due to the added burden of caring for a child/children (funding: 200-400 € per month for maximum one year).

Cusanuswerk

With its programme “Talente sichern – Zukunft gestalten” (“Safeguarding talent – forming the future”), Cusanuswerk also provides funding for female students holding scholarships from any of the twelve organisations supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) who are expected to complete their doctoral studies within maximum six months.

Deutsche Akademikerinnenbund e.V.

The Deutsche Akademikerinnenbund e.V. gives grants for printing costs of maximum 500 € to female academics of all disciplines.

UNESCO-L’Oréal Support Programme in Germany

DUK and L'Oréal Germany, in partnership with the Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard Foundation, provide three support awards of 20,000 Euro to outstanding female Ph.D. scientists with children each year.
